Last year I decided to start a 365. But between recently graduating from college and PCSing overseas, well…let’s just say I didn’t make it very far.

I decided to give it another go. But this time, I will be doing a photo a week.

I’ve fallen into the terrible habit of not taking my camera with me everywhere I go. In Hawaii I would take it everywhere. It never left my purse.

Now, my gear sits alone on my desk gathering dust. I want to change that. I need to change that. So I picked it up.

And like best friends reunited after years apart, we slipped right back in to our familiar groove.

This week was a little bit eventful. Well, busy eventful. Not really the fun kind.

Some things happened that made me cry. Some things happened that made my heart swell up in pride. And other things happened that made me want to pull my hair out.

I would love to spill everything on the blog. But I have a feeling that it may take some time to open up.

I’m weird like that.

Here is the start of a project I hope to stick with this year.

This was taken in my back yard. These are just starting to bloom. I thought it was only fitting to start the blog fresh with the first glimpse of spring.
