When I was 14, I told my very conservative mother that I wanted to be a sex therapist.
I didn't know it then, but that decision would set me on the path that I find myself on today.
What I also didn’t know then, was that photography had a pivotal role in how I was going to change lives. While studying psychology in Hawaii, I stumbled upon photography. It was there that my love for this particular art form was born.
Over the last 13 years, I have had the pleasure of photographing hundreds of women, sharing in their secrets, laughing with them, and helping them on their journey towards self-love. I have photographed women of all shapes and sizes, of all cultures, of all backgrounds. These women are doctors and lawyers. They are nurses and therapists. They are sales goddesses and entrepreneurs. They are mothers and wives. They are just like you and me.
Photography has allowed me to give my clients the gift of self-acceptance. A lot of people come in with their insecurities and leave a brand new person.
We take a journey together that yields rediscovery of self and exploration of what society feels should stay hidden.
I strongly feel that everybody should have a boudoir session because we all deserve to be celebrated. We are daughters, sisters, mothers, wives, best friends, and lovers. We juggle many roles throughout our lives and often need a moment to find ourselves again, free from any labels.
It’s your turn to honor your story.
