This blog post is dedicated to the men, women, and children who have been affected by the earthquakes and tsunamis in the Pacific.
In 2010 I began thinking of various photo concepts I wanted to put together as a way to let out some of my creativity and artistic expression.
Living in Hawaii really opened my eyes to the power of nature.
Being surrounded by beautiful mountains and a powerful ocean, as well as highways and sky scrapers, made me realize just how much of an impact mankind has had on the Earth.
As we watch events unfold in the world currently, we can see Mother Natures fury.
I felt now was a perfect time to blog the conceptual session that I did in January with my model of the day Ashley Padilla and the incredibly talented make up artist Melissa Hurley.
This shoot was a tribute to Mother Earth, and I hope it serves as a reminder of our duty to her.
Unfortunately I have suffered a hard drive crash and cannot finish the photos until the files can be recovered.
As an inhabitant of this beautiful Earth, I try my best to limit the impact that I make on my environment.
As a business owner, I make it a point to use eco friendly packaging and I send out my welcome packets digitally in order to conserve paper.
We can all make a difference in our lives to help continue the longevity of our Earths resources. I hope that you stop and embrace natures beauty around you.
As natural disaster shakes our world, I do hope that you find a way to help those whose lives have been completely shaken.

If you are a photographer looking for ways to make your business more green, here are a few resources:
Moo Business Cards – Amazing business cards with a green business card option, or regular business cards printed from sustainable forests. I am in love with these cards for they are both extremely well made and can feature a different photo on every card in the pack.
The Green Photographer is an excellent website that offers tips to make your business more green.
Greener Photography is an organization devoted to educating photographers and collaborating with various companies to offer green products and services.
