If you have been in our Downtown Norfolk Boudoir studio these last few years, you have most likely met Shaelynn!

She is an incredibly talented hair stylist and makeup artist! She is also an esthetician who can help you with any skincare or waxing needs prior to your session! She helps each one of our amazing clients to truly feel like their best, most beautiful self inside and out!

Beyond all of this, she’s one of my closest friends. She is without a doubt, one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She is absolutely hilarious and we always have a blast when we’re together! She has a heart of gold. I love that I can show up in pajamas and hang out at her place without judgement. That’s love guys.

She has pushed me out of my own comfort zone many times and so I was happy to return the favor! Naturally, she wanted a chance to be in front of the camera too! It’s hard to be surrounded by boudoir and witness the power of a session first hand without wanting to experience it yourself!

We had talked about it for years, but it took some time for her to come around to the idea. Yes, we get nervous too!!!

One of the most important values that I hold as a business owner is representing diversity and serving as an inclusive space for all people. Showcasing body diversity is HUGE for me. I have always been bigger and I always felt the need to shrink myself in order to fit in. It’s hard to feel sexy when society constantly makes you feel as though you must change to fit into what is “beautiful” and Shaelynn and I have both struggled with body confidence because of it.

When we began planning her session we looked through the outfits at the studio closet. Although, she had a ton of options on her own! I am definitely one to borrow clothes from her because her closet is any gals dream!

We narrowed down some pieces that I absolutely LOVED on her!!!

We showcased her curves and her amazing booty! She has pushed me to embrace my curves and the inner confidence that she has definitely inspires me to be more bold and daring. She may seem quiet, but she has a fierceness about her that will take you by surprise!

Miss S said absolutely loved her experience! She has been photographed before but she said the experience was night and day! She said she felt extremely comfortable and loved the guidance I offered in our sessions. Knowing that she had somebody who would pose and guide her to perfection gave her the confidence to finally strip down!
