A couple of weeks ago I asked you what questions you had for me on my facebook page.

I want to say thank you for the emails and messages! I always love getting your feedback!

So here are some of the most commonly asked questions you had for me!

Will my images be online?

Not without your express permission. Every lady that you see on my website, blog, facebook, or even studio walls have signed a model release. If you are not comfortable with signing a release then rest assured that your images will stay between us and whomever you choose to share them with! Your privacy is paramount to me!

How do you get everybody to look so relaxed?

When I say I love my clients, I really do. We spend a lot of time chatting and getting to know each other. When you come in for your session we will not be strangers. While you are in hair and makeup I like to hang out and get to know you better. So when it is go time, we are in a great mood and really to rock some killer images.

I definitely do not rush sessions and I welcome you to take your time getting into the moment. This is your experience and it is my job to make it the best one ever!

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions can take place in a variety of places! They can take lace in your home, outdoors, in a hotel, in my studio…the possibilities are endless!

I am happy to say that I am Virginia Beach’s ONLY exclusively boudoir studio.

My space is specifically set up for boudoir sessions, to include a bed set as well as various other props and backdrops.

I am constantly adding on to my space and creating new looks because I personally love variety!

Do you photograph plus size women?

Hell Yes!!!! I love my fellow plus size ladies! I personally have huge hips and a big badonk (which my butt loving husband loves! Me, not so much! It’s so hard to find jeans that look good!) so knowing how to pose and properly light are absolutely key to having stellar images. Many of my clients choose not to sign a model release, and that is perfectly fine! But if you look through my portfolio you will see some lovely curvy ladies who have decided to share their beauty with you. Rest assured that you are in good hands 😉

Do you work with a makeup artist or hair stylist?

Of course! I absolutely love my makeup artist Carly! She has done the makeup for the majority of the ladies on my website, and even my makeup for my headshots! She has an amazing personality and she is so much for to work with!

I also work with several stylists in the Hampton Roads area and I have been pretty picky about choosing them. They all have amazing personalities and will make sure you look your best in your photos!

How do I prepare for a session?

I will walk you through all of that! When we plan your session we go over any outfits or poses you would like to try. I love planning the shoot with you because it gets both of us pumped for the big day!

I do have an exclusive Client Lounge that all clients are granted access to. This has advice on how to prepare your face and body before you come in for your session. There are some things that we may miss when getting ready for our boudoir experience (like nails that are painted that completely clash with your outfit- oops!) and I like to walk you through some things that may slip your mind a midst all if the planning and prepping.

The Client Lounge also has information on all of the products that I offer so that you can review them before you come in for your session. It helps tremendously when people are planning on using their images for gifts!

What type of person has a boudoir session? I’m not a model and I get nervous in front of the camera.

My clients are ever day women. They are typically military wives who want to get their partner an amazing gift!

They are nurses, psychologists, teachers, stay at home moms, government employees, etc…

They are everyday women just like you and me!

Do not worry about coming in without a clue on how to pose or move your face. I have you covered. I will walk you through the poses and demonstrate them to you so that you don’t feel awkward.

You do not have to be a supermodel in order to look good. We will transform you into a super model for the day and we will have a blast doing it!

Everybody is nervous in front of the camera at first, but if you talk to any of my past clients you will know that I make things as fun and as comfortable as can be!

How does one seek professional help for being addicted to looking at their banging album??

This is still one I have a tough time with answering 😉

I am absolutely in love with all of the albums I offer. It is so hard for me to part with them on delivery day!

My professional opinion would be to review your album with your nearest boy toy and receive a pleasant distraction 😉
