This week on What to Wear Wednesdays we have a little something I personally love: The Lace top!

I am a lover of black lace.

It’s sexy, it’s classic, and it’s extremely versatile.

When I was preparing for my own boudoir session I was particularly concerned with my problem areas: my thighs, my butt, my boobs, my arms, and my stomach. Okay, so I am super self conscious about every single thing that was going to be exposed during my session. But as a boudoir photographer I know just how much proper clothing, posing, and lighting will transform you.

So I went for it! And I spent a ton of time finding outfits to compliment my new mom body while showing off the parts I know my husband loves.

I found this top at Rue 21 a few years ago (before the baby!)  but they can be found all over!

Honestly, I didn’t think to bring this until the morning of my session while heading out the door. I’m so glad I did!
