Miss J is one of those rare ones.
Most of my clients walk into the studio feeling like they probably should have canceled the night before. Their nerves are through the roof. They are equally excited and nervous. Most have been counting down the days. They have been checking and rechecking their bags. They most likely called me for a quick reminder that they are in good hands. Maybe they booked when they were feeling confident, but the days or weeks leading up had them feeling less than? Maybe they contacted me after a glass of whiskey or two. Or hell, maybe it was after a major life change!
No matter what led them to me, everybody shares in the nervousness. Will I do okay? Will I look like the girls on the website? Or will I be that one who makes her work for it? I swear, I have heard it all! And for the record, each and every one of these nervous women have left saying they had a blast!
But Miss J?
She walked in with her head held high. She was ready to do this shit!
She’s a rare one, for sure.
She had been in front of the camera before, but never at this level. She is no stranger to nudity and knows how to rock the sex appeal like nobodies business.
It’s extremely rare for me to have a client who is so ready to slay!
But that’s not to say that she was completely without fear. Like most people, she had quite the journey to arrive at the woman she is today. This confidence that she wears so boldly was hard won. She fought to become the woman that she is today. I love hearing women step into their power and embrace themselves.
She had her session to celebrate just how far she had come. The gift to her new husband was just the cherry on top.
I absolutely adore this woman.
As we chatted, we all got to know more about each other and discovered how connected we really are. I felt as though I made an instant friend. You know when you meet a stranger and you think “Holy shit! This woman is amazing!!! I need to hang out and get to know her more!” Yeah. It’s pretty awesome when you find your people.
We talked about what felt like anything and everything. When she left I just had to give her the biggest hug. Her session truly felt like hanging out and creating with an old friend.
I am so happy that she chose to do a Fire session and I absolutely love her images!!!
