When I first started my business in 2010 I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.

Quite honestly, I made every mistake you could think of.

I was young and in college. I bought my first DSLR and from there I was hooked. I spent hours upon hours trying to learn how to take better photos and I quickly outgrew my little Canon Rebel and kit lens. To be completely honest: I decided to start a business so that I could afford better equipment.

I signed up for my business license, set up a website, and posted an ad on Craigslist.

I was in business.

Well, I thought I was anyways. I had no idea what I was doing and I decided to learn as I went. My stubborn self was determined to do it all by myself and roll with the punches.

I made A LOT of mistakes. A LOT. And those first couple of years were spent learning from the greatest teacher, Life.

Although the lessons learned were often accompanied with tears and frustration, they have led me to where I am today. And quite honestly, I couldn’t be happier!

I announced my decision to shoot boudoir exclusively in 2012. In 2013 I went full time with photography and I haven’t looked back! This year saw the launch of our luxury boudoir studio located in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach. My business has grown leaps and bounds and I absolutely love it!

One thing that I wish I had in those early stages was a mentor. I wish I had somebody that I could turn to for advice when I had an issue with a client. Or somebody who would tell me why all of the time I was spending marketing wasn’t working. Or a voice in my ear to tell me why I felt like I was working so hard and not making any money.

After a lot of thought, I have decided to officially announce that I will be offering One-on-One mentoring to help you build your business!

During our mentoring sessions nothing will be off limits. We will discuss anything from starting your business to taking your business to the next level.

I firmly believe that an outside and objective look at your business is key to identifying ways that you can stand out in your niche and improve on what is becoming such a saturated field.

My approach to mentoring is very straight forward. I’m a no BS kind of gal and I want to see you reach your goals. I will guide you through every inch of your business to help you identify ways that you can not only improve your business, but also your personal life.

Mentoring sessions are $500 plus tax for 4 hours of one on one coaching.
