Let me start this post off by saying, Dana is a new model.

A pet peeve of mine is photographers who shoot models and make it seem as though they are clients 🙂

It was so exciting to shoot her because she is so new!

Working with new models presents the exact same challenges as working with clients, because they aren’t exactly used to being in front of the camera. They have the same fears and insecurities as everybody else. And they are so eager to learn!

If you know me, you know I am a huge fan of those seeking knowledge.

Dana wanted to try a boudoir session because it was something she had never done before. She was wanting to get more experience modeling and I was so thrilled she wanted to shoot with me!

Dana is a brilliant and beautiful woman.

She is a grad student that has recently relocated to NorVa. She is starting a new journey in her life, and she has been through some incredible things for such a young woman.
