Meet Miss A, an international student who dared to chase her dreams and start a new chapter in her life by moving to America.

Miss A is no exception.

Just a few years ago, she chose to up and move to a brand new country. She didn’t know a single soul. She didn’t speak the language. But she was determined to create a better future for herself. One on her own terms.

 

She enrolled in school and began working on another degree, in a new language, learning English and fully immersing herself in this new country on her own terms.

 

As she approached her college graduation, she decided to celebrate this milestone with a bold and empowering boudoir session in our Norfolk Boudoir Studio.

 

She traveled down from DC for a day of self love and celebration!

 

Miss A’s story is one of courage, determination, and self-love, and her boudoir experience was a testament to her strength and resilience.

 

Through our lens, we captured her beauty, confidence, and the badass spirit that has carried her through this exciting journey.

 

I love that she chose to have such an intimate and personal experience to celebrate her life milestone. As women, we often place ourselves last on the priority list when it comes to honoring ourself and our needs and desires.

 

Marking this moment with a boudoir experience was a gift to HERSELF.

 

Why did you decide that you wanted to do a boudoir session?

I’ve done one before, but after knowing myself, my body, and my sexual preferences better, I always wanted to repeat the experience.

What made you decide to hire me as your photographer?

I just loved your vibe, the energy, how you can capture the features and essences of each one of them. Is just perfect!

How were you feeling before your shoot? Any thoughts going through your head?

Nervous and ready to cancel haha
I grew up on a very conservative family and even though I can make my own choices and have my own power, some things where definitely going through my head.
I’m glad I didn’t let these take control over me, I do not regret a single bit. It was perfect, it was beautiful ❤️

 

 

 

How did you feel about having your hair and makeup done?

Stunning!!
Not even Beyoncé could beat me that day haha
The girls are absolutely awesome, super professional and fun! The experience of not knowing what they were doing, made the results even more thrilling and special 🥹

 

Now that you’ve had your own photo shoot, how was it?

It was awesome! It was more than I was expecting! All the team are super professional and fun to work with.
The environment was super nice and we had some pretty good laughs along the process.
I felt so sexy, powerful… It was just amazing 🥹

What would you say to someone considering doing a boudoir shoot?

Just do it! I feel like every woman needs to do one. Is good not only for our self esteem but for the soul!
The experience is amazing and the results incredible!!

Is there anything I could do that would make this experience completely perfect?

I just want to say thank you for all the attention, care and kindness 🥹
You all were amazing, and made this experience so easy! It can be challenging but the energy made everything smooth!
