I had it. That moment. That feeling you get when everything in the world is exactly how it should be.
The other day I was sitting in a coffee shop waiting to meet with a client.
I watched as the rain hit the bistro tables outside of the coffee shop. I filled my lungs with the sweet aroma of espresso being pulled. And I listened to George Harrisons sweet voice.
And I felt a slight tug at my heartstrings as I remembered the feeling I got every time I stepped into the Coffee Gallery on the North Shore of Oahu. For a brief moment I felt like I was home.
I took a sip of my latte and I remembered the words…
Live Aloha
Anybody that has talked to me knows the impact that living in Hawaii had on me. Though I am a Pacific Islander, my family is from Guam, I never embraced the island lifestyle. It wasn’t until I moved to Hawaii that I began to really develop as a person. And though I am no longer there, I still like to live my life with aloha.
Love with all your heart. Be kind. Be respectful. Be understanding. Go out of your way to experience something new. Share with others. Embrace nature. Celebrate the beauty in others.
Have an amazing day everybody! Aloha.

My father used to sing me this song, when I couldn’t get to sleep when I was younger.
GREAT words of wisdom. Reading this has inspired me to go out and embrace life today, and everyday!
