My insomnia got the best of me.

Instead of going to bed around 6am, I decided to do somethign a little different.

I went up to HaleIwa to shoot the sunrise.

I also tried my hand at long exposure for the first time.

I forgot to bring the tripod ring for my 70-200mm lens, and so it wasn’t held very steady.

Unfortunately, this caused a lot of blurry images.

Lesson learned!

I will try again sometime.

But I did enjoy watching the sunrise and the surfers get pounded at the beach.

I am going to miss this paradise.

Seriously, when am I ever going to take a short trip up the road to the best beach in the world?!

After shooting, I head over to the Coffee Gallery for my daily fix.

I was able to work on my Easy as Pie pricing before my face met my soy chai latte.

I don’t think I’m going to go without sleeping for a while.

It’s kinda important 😉
