This was taken while I was drugged up and meeting with a friend to talk photography (Thank you, Bronchitis).
I can honestly say that it was my first time having Starbucks Coffee in a while. I prefer to stick with my local coffee house.
But anyways…
When looking at this photo, I started to see a vision of myself that I do not like.
I imagined myself in Downtown surrounded by all of the people rushing to get to their office so that they could sit in their cubicle and work continuously.
I honestly don’t think I could ever have a normal job…
The monotony of it all scares me just as much as having to work uner some hierarchical system of bosses upon bosses.
I am so glad to have found Psychology. And I am equally glad to have found Photography.
I cannot ever have a normal job (I tried, many times, each job lasted a month), and I am so glad to have found what makes me happy.
And getting paid for it isn’t half bad.
And so when I think of all those people waiting in the long lines for coffee at the massive chain coffeeshop inhabiting every street corner near you, I will be taken back to my special place.
