Hi, I'm LeZandra

Last year, in 2025, I stepped onto the stage at the Boudoir Summit for WPPI and taught for the first time.

That alone felt like a full circle moment for me. I never in my life expected to teach at WPPI. Being a Boudoir Photographer for the last 16 years has been an experience that has molded me into the woman I am today. I love boudoir and the freedom of expression it provides. Being able to teach about my couples boudoir process and how we, as photographers, can showcase somebody’s most intimate love story, was such an honor.

But what I didn’t expect… was what came after.

That was the first time I experienced this incredible penthouse.

And something about it just stuck with me.

The light.
The views.
The energy of the space.

It felt like it was meant to hold something bigger.

I put a very last minute call out in my facebook group and newsletter, and Miss J answered!

It was an offer designed for the adventurous. Travel to Las Vegas and shoot in this badass penthouse with me.

WPPI was covering my hotel room, so she could stay there and enjoy the trip! We could stay at the Penthouse and work and play. Win-win.

So I came back and hosted one of the most epic shootouts I’ve ever been part of. Penthouse Pleasures. A room filled with top tier talent, creativity pouring out of every corner, women showing up fully in their power, pushing edges, creating art that felt alive.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that… I knew.

I wasn’t done here.

I wanted to come back and create something more intentional.
Something more intimate.
Something that felt like an experience, not just a shoot.

And that’s exactly what this trip became.

Every once in a while I step back and have one of those moments where I think to myself…

How the hell did I get here?

Not in a negative way.

But a moment when you just sit and realize the enormity of what you created.

This trip to Las Vegas was one of those moments.

Because one of my clients, Miss V, decided to get on a plane and fly out to Vegas to create something unforgettable with me.

And honestly… that kind of trust still humbles me.

When Your Client Flies Across the Country for a Boudoir Session

Miss V didn’t just book a photoshoot.

She booked an experience.

She packed a suitcase full of stunning custom pieces and flew out to Las Vegas so we could create together.

This was her first time in Vegas.

And I love when that happens.

It’s so fun to watch somebody experience a city Las Vegas for the first time. The lights, the energy, the chaos, the glamour. Everything feels big and alive. Las Vegas has always held a bit of my heart. I love being able to see others experience it.

We were staying in a gorgeous penthouse overlooking the strip, and the views alone were enough to take your breath away.

As she walked through the floors of the Palms I watched as peoples heads just turned to follow her. She was a woman in her element. It was like she just radiated this Baddie aura. Jaws were dropping left and right. Compliments were flowing and people were double taking.

“Who’s that girllll” rang in my head the entire time we shot.

We headed out towards the Flamingo to capture her vibrant top and skirt in the city lights.

Later we wandered out into the night and made our way over to the Bellagio fountains where Miss V stood there looking absolutely stunning while the water danced behind her.

It felt cinematic.

Like one of those moments where the world just pauses for a second.

Lucy in the sky with diamonds played out and I was instantly transported to the very first time I was able to experience the fountains with some people who are very special to me. It was just an incredible moment.

We were approached by some showgirls who had to stop and talk to Miss V. They were so enamored by her beauty and wanted to compliment her. They admired her dancer figurer, the showgirls recognizing the athleticism and form she possessed.

A Beautiful Moment of Sisterhood

What made this trip even more meaningful was the company I was surrounded by.

This shoot happened on March 1st.

The very first day of Women’s History Month, just after the close of Black History Month.

And there we were.

A small crew of Black women in Las Vegas creating art together.

My sister was there.

Miss V was there.

Another client had flown in from Baltimore for her first trip to Las Vegas before WPPI.

We shared the penthouse.

We sat in the hot tub overlooking the strip.

We laughed, we talked, we stayed up late telling stories.

At one point I remember just standing there quietly taking it all in.

Because moments like that don’t happen by accident.

They happen because of trust.

They happen because of community.

And they happen because incredible women continue to support the work that I do.

Traveling for a Boudoir Shoot

Travel boudoir sessions hit different.

When you take yourself out of your everyday environment, something shifts.

You loosen up.

You play more.

You allow yourself to step into a version of yourself that maybe doesn’t always get the spotlight back home.

Destination boudoir sessions also create imagery that feels editorial and cinematic.

Different architecture.
Different light.
Different energy.

The environment becomes part of the story.

And sometimes the act of traveling for your photoshoot becomes just as meaningful as the photos themselves.

Why Travel Means So Much to Me

I grew up as a military brat.

Which meant a lot of road trips across the country whenever we were moving to a new duty station.

As a kid, those long drives meant I got to see places outside the little bubble of wherever we happened to live.

And everywhere we went, I encountered people who carried their own culture, traditions, and stories.

I loved that.

I loved seeing how different people lived.

I loved hearing their stories.

So now as an adult, travel still lights something up inside of me.

And the fact that I get to travel with my camera and create art with women who trust me enough to go on that adventure with me… it’s something I hold really deeply in my heart.

Because this business only exists because of the women who have believed in me.

The women who trusted me to tell their stories.

The women who took a chance on me.

Miss V is one of those women.

And I will always be grateful for that.

Come Away With Me

This Las Vegas session is exactly the spirit behind something I’ve been dreaming up.

A series I’m calling Come Away With Me.

These are destination sessions for women who want something a little more adventurous.

Something that feels like a story.

Maybe it’s Las Vegas.

Maybe it’s the beach.

Maybe it’s a city you’ve always wanted to explore.

The idea is simple.

You pack your bags.

You meet me somewhere incredible.

And we create something unforgettable together.

To Miss V

Miss V, thank you for trusting me enough to get on a plane and meet me in Las Vegas.

Thank you for showing up fully and allowing me to capture your beauty in a place that felt larger than life.

And thank you for being part of the reason this wild dream of mine continues to grow.

I truly would not be here without women like you.

Thinking About Traveling for Your Boudoir Session?

If you’ve ever dreamed about combining travel with a boudoir experience, the Come Away With Me sessions may be exactly what you’re looking for.

These destination sessions are limited and announced when travel dates open.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply say:

Let’s go create something unforgettable.
