Once a month the ladies at the Richmond Institute of Burlesque at Norfolk put on a night of glitz and glamour. My partner in crime and I never miss a show.

It is rare that I click with another woman (I blame my raunchy sense of humor, don’t judge) but Leila and I have become fast friends.

One amazing thing about photography is that it brings people together.

Leila is an amazing photographer and an amazing friend, which is exactly why you will find me with her at the burlesque show and out drinking beers together afterwards.
