Sometimes life throws a massive opportunity at me that as a creator and boudoir photographer, I just HAVE to make a move. My goal is to be able to educate other photographers and always promote sex positivity and self-love in the most empowering way possible.

 

Having not one but TWO Norfolk boudoir photography studios is just the start of my big dream coming true! Siren City Studios is a new boudoir photography studio NOW AVAILABLE for rent in Norfolk, still with the LeZandra touch of course.

 

Introducing Siren City Studios

 

Siren City Studios is right across the street from my current photography studio off of Granby Street in Downtown Norfolk. Within two months, I was able to start up the new business, get keys, and do some renovations. I am in LOVE with the exposed brick look I have in my current studio, so that project was my main focus. 

 

When I was in Maui, I found out that another BADASS boudoir photographer was selling so many things from her studio… and I received just about all of it. We got so much new furniture and decorations and wanted to take the time to get the studio just right. 

 

3 Rooms –  1 Dream Space for a Norfolk Boudoir Photographer 

 

Of course, I had to replicate my boudoir photography style into the Neon room. The dark walls are complemented by a rich velvet chaise and curtains – a gentlemens’ kink lounge if you will. This room is complete with neon lights around shelves with more kink toys and the Honey Birdette sex swing. 

Up next is the Downtown room. We went for a grunge, cityscape style. Cool tones and gold accents surrounded by white exposed brick – yes please! Visions of more “tame” boudoir sets and even badass professional headshots dance through my head. 

 

What happens when Barbie gets a kink room? You have a lush white bed, hot pink couch, and a glorious crystal chandelier surrounded by flowing sheer curtains. This is the room to use for lifestyle sessions, maternity shoots, a posh work set… you name it. 

 

Creative Photography Space

 

The 3 spacious rooms are all decorated with different themes. The morning and evening light coming through the floor to ceiling windows is divine. I can’t wait to see the ways the 2 balconies overlooking Granby St will be utilized by other photographers.

Grand Opening for the Newest Norfolk Studio

To showcase the birth of Siren City Studios, I am hosting the Grand Opening and LeZandra Photography Open House on Saturday, June 22nd from 12 – 4 pm. I will also have a panel of other local entrepreneurs here to answer your questions about launching their businesses. Opening up a second photography studio, I forgot how many intricate details go in to launching a new business.
