Hi, I'm LeZandra

Consider this your ultimate Norfolk Date Night Guide!

Moving my business from Virginia Beach to Norfolk was the best decision I ever made. Don’t get me wrong, Virginia Beach is home, but Norfolk has this amazing vibe that’s full of energy, diversity, and creativity. It’s a city that’s all about community and supporting small businesses, which has been incredible for my studio. I’ve made so many connections and felt so inspired here.

If you’re planning a couples boudoir session, why not make it a whole experience? About 50% of our clients find that they are traveling into Norfolk for their couples boudoir session. After a day spent together where you two are enveloped, in all sorts of positions, and in various states of undress, you’re sure to work up an appetite! Whether you want to keep the excitement and energy building, or you want a place to unwind, these are some of my favorite spots in Norfolk for it all!

Start with Coffee

If your session starts earlier in the day, you’ll definitely want a coffee to kick things off. These places are my go-tos:

  • Kobros Coffee: This small, cozy spot has awesome espresso drinks and a laid-back vibe. If you are hitting it before my session, please bring me back one! Tell them it’s for LeZandra and they will know what’s up 😘
  • Equinox Coffee Co.: Super modern and stylish, with amazing coffee that’s worth savoring.
  • Cure Coffeehouse: Located in the Freemason District, it’s cute, charming, and perfect for a coffee date.

Celebrate with a Great Date Night

After your boudoir session, why not keep the magic going? Norfolk has some amazing places for dinner, drinks, and everything in between. Here’s the rundown:

Fancy Drinks and Cool Atmosphere

  • Glass Light Hotel and Gallery: This place is so gorgeous! A lot of our out of state clients stay here because its luxurious and the roofs are incredible. It’s full of amazing glass art, and the cocktails are top-tier. The restaurant is run by a Michelin-star chef (someone double-check me on that!), so it’s a great spot if you’re feeling fancy.
  • Grain at The Main Hotel: If you want a killer rooftop view, especially at sunset, this is the place. The vibe is fun and lively, and the drinks are always on point.

For Seafood Lovers

  • Saltine: If you’re into seafood, this is the spot. Everything is super fresh and delicious.
  • Varia: This Italian restaurant has such a romantic vibe. It’s perfect for a cozy dinner for two.

Intimate and Relaxed Dining

  • Freemason Abbey: This restaurant is in a historic church, which makes it so unique. The she-crab soup is a must-try.
  • The Bird: This hidden gem is super cozy and has fantastic food. It’s one of my favorite spots for an intimate dinner.
  • Crudo Nudo: If you’re into small plates and sharing, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is so chill and perfect for a date night.

Something Special

  • Gershwin’s: They’re famous for their smoked Old Fashioned’s, which are so good. They also have live piano music, and if you’re lucky, you might catch Ashley from Velvet Witch performing—she’s incredible!

Late-Night Favorites

  • Toast: A fun spot with creative small plates and a cool, laid-back vibe. Perfect if you want to keep the night going.
  • Perro Blanco: If you’re craving tacos late at night, this is the place to be. They’re amazing.

Why Norfolk Feels Like Home

When I first opened my studio on Granby Street, I loved how alive the downtown area felt. It was close to everything—concerts at The NorVa, events at Chrysler Hall and Scope Arena, and tons of great food and drinks on Granby Street. Since moving to the Park Place (which has been “rebranded” to the RailRoad District), I’ve fallen even more in love with Norfolk. Ghent, Park Place, and the nearby neighborhoods are full of charm and personality, and there’s always something to discover.

Norfolk isn’t just where I work; it’s a huge part of what inspires me. The people, the culture, the community—it’s all amazing and makes every session and celebration so special.
