Hi, I'm LeZandra

Hey, hi, hello!

First off I would like to say I’m incredibly happy to be here. It’s been a long road to get here, and I won’t bore you with more than half of it.

At the beginning of 2023 I was an accountant, managing the personal and business finances for ultra wealthy individuals – we’re talking private jet and mega-yacht wealthy.

I had a fascinating job, but I was not at all fulfilled.

So after the April tax deadline, I left my job without knowing exactly what was next for me, but knowing that whatever came would be something that centered my joy and happiness

In early May, I left for a 5 week long cross country road trip that spanned nearly 11,000 miles, 22 states, and visiting 23 national parks – just me and my dog, Alfred. That trip completely changed me – it broke me open in ways I was not prepared for but desperately needed.

I got to slow down long enough that I really got to witness the future I wanted to have.

I spent so much of my life in a state of survival that getting to stop and experience the joy of thriving was beautiful, but terrifying.

I was able to rewire my relationship to joy in a way that reminded me of how trauma therapy helped me rewire my relationship to my self worth.

I have a thousand stories I could tell about what that journey was for me, but most of them boil down to me knowing that I wanted to live a life that felt like it truly made a positive difference in the world and one where I could show up as my authentic self.

And that’s how I ended up here.

LeZandra and I have known each other for years through social media, and occasionally passing each other at our favorite coffee shop, and she had witnessed this journey in real time.

She has always known who I actually am, so I had no doubt when I applied for this job that I would be able to show up as myself and make a difference by being me.

Our birthdays are one day apart, though our big three are completely different (for you astrology babes), and my analytical Virgo Sun brain and emotional Scorpio Moon/Cancer Rising heart feel like the perfect balance for her creative Libra Sun mind and passionate Sag Moon/Leo Rising heart.

I love candid photographs so much, and often refer to myself as a “paparazzi friend”, so I am looking forward to taking BTS pictures when y’all come in!

I am originally from Denver, and whenever I get really homesick I will go to First Landing and take a 3 mile hike to help me get a little taste of home. I have a 9 year old Maltese/Yorkie mix named Alfred (like from Batman) and I adore him more than words will ever say, he’s hilarious and smart and so sweet and protective.

I consider food to be my love language and cooking is one of my favorite forms of self care and to show someone I love them.

I absolutely love gardening and plants, and I try to grow as much of my own food and flowers as possible. I genuinely believe that plants know when you say nice things to them.

I truly love to travel – NYC is my favorite city I have been to so far.

I am obsessed with the moon and astrology and I will likely ask you about your Venus and Mercury signs if given the chance, and your big three of course.

For anyone who is curious, my Venus and Mercury are both in Virgo, and my Venus in Virgo my favorite placement that I have.

I think dance is truly healing for both stress levels and those of us working on our inner child, and I think we should all do it at least once a day.

I keep a note in my phone that has a running list titled “I feel loved when” and I add to it whenever something happens that makes my heart smile – it has been a game changer for my bad days when I am not feeling loveable at all.

And finally I think one of the single best habits I have developed in recent years is to make sure all of my dishes are done before going to bed each night. It helps me wake up feeling like I’ve already accomplished something and like I can get anything done that day. And sometimes “anything” is just cooking dinner.

I look forward to getting to know you all and seeing you in the studio and the facebook group!!
