I picked up a camera while studying to be a sex therapist in Hawaii. I started my business at 19 and never looked back!
I grew up in a military family and I am always down to travel!
I’m engaged to an incredible human, mother to a 7 year old and two amazing 14 and 10 year old bonus kids!
You can find me grabbing coffee Downtown, singing and dancing in my car at stop lights, lifting heavy weights at the gym, or banging my head at a metal show.
A sex coach is essentially like a personal trainer - but for your sex life. It’s on purpose that I’ve created a very sex positive environment at the studio. The more I delved into the world of sex therapy while studying psychology, the more I realized that I wanted to focus less on the past and more on creating a path for solutions, change and growth.
With that being said, during a session, I do a lot of groundwork to discover where my clients are at in relation to their sexuality, how comfortable they are with expressing that sexuality. My goal is to make sure a session aligns with your own story, creating a space where that story is displayed on its own.
Oftentimes, boudoir photographers have a shot list and that might include provocative imagery, but it comes down to a posing flow, rather than an exploration of self - which is what I want to invite women to do. I want images to be a true reflection of a client’s relationship with their body and sexuality. Because I approach boudoir from this avenue, I’m better able to portray clients the way they wish to be portrayed. What I do is very holistic and involves displaying your story the way you want it to be told. It’s a very gentle, guided process, but it pushes women to explore and express things out loud. I’ve worked hard to create an environment that allows women to embrace their womanhood and sensuality without judgement or any kind of “one size fits all” standard, which is something I’m incredibly proud of.
I want your session to be a true representation of your inner sexual identity. Not doing so in a way that is degrading or objectifying, but in a way that allows their personal ideals and what their sexuality should be represented as.
I strongly feel that every woman should have a boudoir session because we all deserve to be celebrated. We are daughters, sisters, mothers, wives, best friends, and lovers. We juggle many roles throughout our lives and often need a moment to find ourselves again, free from any labels.
It’s your turn to join the amazing community I’ve built. Contact me today to learn how.
When I was 14, I told my very conservative mother that I wanted to be a sex therapist. I didn't know it then, but that decision would set me on the path that I find myself on today. What I also didn’t know then, was that photography had a pivotal role in how I was going to change lives. While studying psychology in Hawaii, I stumbled upon photography. It was there that my love for this particular art form was born.
Over the last ten years, I have had the pleasure of photographing hundreds of women, sharing in their secrets, laughing with them, and helping them on their journey towards self-love. I have photographed women of all shapes and sizes, of all cultures, of all backgrounds. These women are doctors and lawyers. They are nurses and therapists. They are sales goddesses and entrepreneurs. They are mothers and wives. They are just like you and me.
Photography has allowed me to give my clients the gift of self-acceptance. A lot of women come in with their insecurities and leave a brand new person. We take a journey together that yields rediscovery of self and exploration of what society feels should stay hidden.
Couple the experience of boudoir with sex coaching and you’re guaranteed to have an transformational experience with me. Boudoir, in and of itself, is so powerful. It’s great at opening up a door that allows you to understand yourself better. But what happens when you’re given room to explore that new understanding? What happens when you’re given the opportunity to identify your sexual goals and create an action plan to tackles those goals, in turn making sure that you can have a happy and healthy sex life? Magic. Magic happens.
Sex therapy is different than sex coaching, in that sex therapy typically digs into past influences on our sexual behaviour (specifically trauma, shame, guilt, etc.), whereas sex coaching (which can include these things, as well, but doesn’t focus on them) approaches things from a less pathological perspective and moreso works to accept the current scenario and how to move forward. Where therapy is meant to dive into working on reframing your perspective on the past things that have shaped your views on sex and identity, sex coaching is more focused on acceptance and moving forward, working to give you a tangible and specific forward momentum. Sex coaching is very actionable, goal oriented/driven and meant to be entered into with a specific purpose in mind.
fuck what they think
How i started
He came into my life when I least expect it. I was freshly separated from my ex and out of a 13 year old emotionally abusive relationship. I was looking for fun and adventure. I defffinitely wasn't looking for a relationship!
We matched on Bumble. He said he was looking for his caramel Morticia Addams and I have a weakness for bald men with tattoos. We met the next day and have been inseparable ever since.
I have never met a person with a heart as pure and loving. He is compassionate, driven, hard working, and loving as all hell. He's the most amazing father I've ever met and he is my favorite partner in life.
He goes out of his way to let me know he appreciates me every single day. He is my number one supporter and he inspires me to be a better person everyday.
We bonded over our love of heavy metal and bourbon. He's my favorite concert buddy and adventure partner. I love our weekly coffee dates, where we just sit and talk about anything and everything.
We gross our kids out with our incessant butt grabbing and life isn't normal if we don't hear "Get a room!" from somebody around at least once a day, be it our kids or random strangers at the gym.
We are getting married on Halloween 2020 and I cannot wait to say "I Do"!
i LOVE THESE DORKS.
I'M THE MOMMA TO A RAMBUNCTIOUS 5 YEAR OLD AND BONUS MOM TO AN OUTSPOKEN 12 YEAR OLD AND CURIOUS 8 YEAR OLD.
THERE IS NEVER A DULL MOMENT IN OUR HOUSE. BETWEEN WRESTLING, SOCCER, AND ACTING CLASS, OUR WEEKS ARE FILLED WITH ACTIVITIES.
EACH OF THEM HAVE THEIR OWN UNIQUE PERSONALITIES AND IT HAS BEEN SO FUN WATCHING THEM ALL GROW INTO THEIR SELVES.
OUR HOME HAS BECOME THE NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS PLACE TO HANG AND I LOVE IT!
I grew up a military brat and traveling is just in my blood. We completed many cross country road trips. It wasn't until I was an adult that I ventured out of the country.
I love immersing myself in other cultures, whether it be the streets of New York City or the beaches of Guam.
There is a high probability that I'm on the road on the weekends, be it a quick trip to Richmond or away hiking in the mountains.
I'm always down to go anywhere!
Traveling to Norway has been on my bucket list since I was a teen and I cannot wait to make it there one day!
I was definitely the weird goth kid in high school.
I started listening to metal in middle school and it forever changes my life.
I love to bang my head and explore bands from all over the world.
Phil proposed to me during the middle of a Slayer concert.
This past summer, I was able to meet and photograph my favorite band and it was one of top life experiences.
I also love classic rock, reggae, oldies, you name it. But metal has my heart.
